Too Many Rules These Days

As many times as I have been to this park in Melbourne, I've yet to see a boater pause before launching his boat, and reading the signs.

Oh well, they're probably there more to cover Brevard County's behind than anything else.

The stop signs beside the playground, now those signs I can understand.

I've seen lots of folks obey them.

This is one of the parks I like to visit on lunch breaks when I feel the need to get away from work...

...and it's not 95F (35C), or 105F (40.5C) with the heat index (humidity) factored in.

there is now the feeling that perhaps the UK roads are over-burdened with road signs - that we should declutter. A good idea, I think!

Wow, that's a lot of rules and NO's to take in. No wonder people don't take time to read them.
Great commentary on life.

People don't read signs. Can you blame them. Reminds me of when I'm driving and there's a series of consecutive signs telling me 50km followed by 40km followed by 35km followed by 60km followed by 80km all withing the distance of 1km.

That is a lot of signs. It's no wonder people don't really read them! At least they are stopping at the stop signs. :)
