Battened Down

Patio table umbrellas outside a local steak restaurant. No real story and not much to say about this one, but I like the repeating forms.

It looks like a bevy of 60's dresses all waiting to go dancing.
Guess I'm really tired tonight. think I will just stop there.

This is a really well spotted scene. I loved the bundled up umbrellas and that triangular red thing really gives a great focal point!

I guess it's getting to be that time of year for everyone to start putting things away. Well, it is in PA anyway.

This photo reminds me of a trip I took to New Hampshire the week after Labor Day in 1997. The motels already had their pools covered and their patio furniture stacked up and put away. That looked so strange to a southern boy who was used to going swimming well into Fall.

and that hint of red lent by the sign adds a dash of style to the whole arrangement :)
