More Rolling Stones, 1981

Here are a couple more photos from the Rolling Stones concert I attended at the New Orleans Superdome in December of 1981.

I remember it had been years since the Rolling Stones had toured the US, and there was all kinds of talk about how they were still going strong although they were all around 37 or 38 years old at the time.

That's funny, because 26 years after these photos, they're still the highest grossing (money wise) rock band in the world.

If they were US citzens, they would qualify for Social Security and Medicaid benefits.

Wow! Your Stones pics are sooooo cool! They are just such a classic rock band. My fave stuff is from the 60's into teh early 70's adn Paint it Black is my favourite song of theirs.

Bob Kat said it, and that's a classic photo of Jagger too.

Look how young Keith Richards looks in the background. 37 or 38? He doesn't look a day over 60 here! Today he could be mistaken for Tutankhamen. Those were the days!

Ahhhh I had tickets to this show then got busted the night before in Houston for selling Mandrax. Didn't even want to sell it but the undercover cop offered me $18 for one hit. That should have been my first clue. Either way once he found out I was going to jail anyway. Glad I don't do drugs anymore.
