June 1st Already?
I wanted to post something deep and meaningful, but all I could come up with was light and fluffy.
The first photo is the WWI Flying Ace Smiley Face on the antenna of my Ford Taurus. A gift from Lovely Wife.
The second photo was of the custom paint job on this Chevy Avalanche, taken near the boat ramp on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, Florida. The company is called Big Toho Airboat Rides. I've lived here ten years and still haven't ridden on an airboat.
Hope everyone has a great summer!

Great pics! I had a wonderful airboat ride at Boggy Creek near Orlando in Florida. It was fantastic - I'll never forget it!!
I think light and fluffy (with a smiley face thrown in) is absolutely appropriate for the first day of June.
That's cute. At first, I thought maybe it was one of those suction cup things you put on the window.
Thanks for the smile....I really needed it today! I'm about ready to have a break-down.
I love the flying ace :)
What exactly is an airboat? Is it a hovercraft?
That mascot is FUN!
bob-kat, an air boat is basically a shallow, relatively flat boat with a motor and airplane propeller on back. If you look closely at the photo of the truck, you can see that they incorporated a picture of several people on an air boat into the paint job.
Here's the Wikipedia entry for air boat. It has a couple of pictures.
Hi Jam, Why not make a summer resolution to take an airboat ride? Put the long silk scarf around your neck and go.
what a happy first pic, John.......made my day here :)
