Crepe Myrtle and Ixora Blossoms

The first photo is of a single bunch of blooms on the small ixora plant that you can see, also in yesterday's first photo, it's the small plant in the lower left of the photo with the puff ball looking pink blossoms.

The second photo is a closeup of a single bunch of blooms on the crepe myrtle at the top of yesterday's post.

We also have a massive ixora under some palm trees in the front yard that are blooming to beat the band. I'll have to take a photo of it too someday soon.

Update: Sorry folks, but for most of the day, I had identified the top photo as being of blooms on the crepe myrtle. The top photo is of Ixora blooms.

The BOTTOM photo is crepe myrtle blooms.

Sorry about that.

Nice shots John. Such vibrant colors. Unfortunately the last couple of year the Japanese Beetles have enjoyed my Crepe Myrtle more than I have!!!!

The Crepe Myrtles in our area are bursting out in many colors. They are so puffy and lovely. I'll have to try to take a picture or two myself.
Nice colorful shots John.
