Black and White #13

Both the bridge and the boy fishing were photographed at Sebastian Inlet State Park.

I tried some different things with the bridge one, but it still didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped to make it. Oh well, such is life, and photography. The scene is looking eastward toward the mainland of Florida, through the inlet that passes under the bridge.

Lovely Wife hates the Gaussian blur / Orton process photos like she used to hate my colored filters back in my Cokin Filter System days. You just can't please some people, can you?

The bridge is beautiful! I am very fond of classic black and white images! Yours are great!

Both good images. I love fishing boy.
Yes, it's hard to please everyone, but if you satisfied the outcome that is the thing.

Hi well Yes sometimes the "gausian blur' doesn't look wel, however this bridge you couldn't make better a it already is now. I think its OK :). The fishing boy is 'like a dreaming picture' very nice, Yes! I defenitely like B&W photography very much...

Great black and white process. I especially like the fishing boy and the sparkly water.

Yesm what you like is really the true test. I particularly like the fisheman. The ripples and curve of the water adds to the overall effect.

Great stuff here as always, sorry I haven't been around much, pant pant, it's been one crazy busy summer so far, and it's just starting!

I like the photo with the boy the best. The other photo is a little dark.

That fishing photo is really special. I sat looking at it for ages. I think you've done a great job on the bridge too.
