Black and White #10
That first shot is a scan of a 35mm slide, converted to B&W, and played with in Photoshop Elements 4.0. Train bridge crossing the Ouachita River from Monroe to West Monroe, Louisiana.
The second shot is a straight B&W conversion of a color slide. The train and buildings were in Rockwood, Tennessee where Lovely Wife's grandmother lives.

That top photo is very moody. Great image!
Great photoshopping. I like the feel of both shots.
my fav will be the second one...i love trains and hence my partiality to the shot :)
I am LOVING the top shot! Very nice tones!
I especially like that first one.
Both those photos are appealing to me. They'd look good on my walls but I won't do that, of course. I'll just come back to see them here at your site.
I like the composition of the top one best, but it's coming out a little dark - might just be my browser.
your black/white work is spectacular!
Love these, but I guess you probably figured I would!
That bridge picture is really outstanding! Very dramatic...
I truly love black and white!
