I like that too, John. I think many people attracted those cloth lines and pins in somehow. ( as to photograph) That is very interesting phenomenon. May be we feel piece of daily life, or just a colourful patterns or something else. Anyway, I'm one of them. I like it and I think it's a very attractive subject.

I remember hanging clothes with those plastic clothespins ... I used to hate it when they would snap when they would get old & brittle.
