Pink Flamingos

We've yet to bow to some people's idea of proper Florida lawn decorations and installed plastic pink flamingos in our yard.

But I do think they're neat. These were in a gift shop in Orlando International Airport when we took a visitor to catch her plane.

There are always neat things to see and photograph in stores.

What would be even funnier, would be someone who puts these lawn flamingos in a cold weather location like New England, and leave them out during winter.

Great shot and I agree it would be funny to have them out in New England or someplace cold.

One of my neighbors woke up to find their entire front yard covered with about 20 pink flamingos one morning several years ago. There was a little sign that said "You've been flocked!" And just as mysteriously as they appeared, they were gone! I wanted to get a photo of them when I got home from work, as that I did not have time in the morning...but they were gone! Kind of weird, but fun!
